For many years we have shared a dream to open a modern Japanese restaurant serving creative Japanese fusion cuisine and well-made cocktails. All presented in a beautifully designed building with a vibrant atmosphere. This concept is popular abroad and much of the inspiration we get from restaurants like Zuma, Nobu, Tao and Baoli.

It has always been important to us that we should not be a copy of the above well-established chains. After many long discussions back and forth it suddenly became very clear, we will be a modern Japanese Dinner Club.


From the Robata bar, a barbecue tradition, vegetables, meat, fish and seafood under intense heat.  We also have the Sushi Bar were we focus on simplicity and quality. No detail is too small when it comes to our nigiri. Our way with extra warm rice and cold fresh fish creates a taste sensation that will melt in your mouth.

Our sushi rolls on the other hand has great flavors and exciting combinations. The remaining kitchen is where we offer our creative interpretations of Japanese cuisine. Our corn tempura and creamy sriracha glaced tempura prawns are some examples. We will also serve hot skillet Toban dishes paired with yuzu ponzu sauce and kimchi nabe is served in a traditional cast iron pot.


We have, from Bubbles & Brunch, learned the art of entertaining guests while they eat and then in stunning manner transform it to the party. We have done this with great success and this is what makes us unique.

Entertainment for the guest does not just mean that it is a party. We are offering this experience in all parts of the room – whether it is our genuine and professional service, our drinks that are served in creative presentations or that, of course, our food is absolute world class.

The experiences we offer our guests is what will make us unique and that is something we will never stop developing!


With inspiration from a mix of old and new culture together with great heritage and traditions of everything from symbols, art and mountains to animals, toys, candy, spices and herbs from the country of Japan.

Whether you look for sweet, sour, fruity, savory, earthy, boozy or light cocktails – Kasai will have them all. Mixed with a good selection of other spirits and carefully selected ingredients you will see some classic cocktails with a special twist as well as some of Kasai´s signature cocktails.

We want to create a special moment just for you. That is why we play around with unique tastes, aromas, appearances, fires, textures and feelings.



Paulo Fagundez, Jerry Forsberg and Felix Granander have together with Danny Elmaleh, the culinary mastermind, perhaps best known for his award-winning concept, Cleo have together a very unique collection of experience and skills and have poured it all into creating Kasai.
